Golden Threads of Inspiration.
A children’s book series woven from African folklore, with an original soundtrack for every title, given a single home that ties Amazon, streaming platforms, Substack, and social channels into one journey from discovery to purchase.
A series with everything
except a centre
Golden Threads of Inspiration is a series of illustrated stories for children aged 8 and up, written by Walé Akíngbadé and rooted in African folklore, exploring themes like identity, patience, and resilience. Every book is paired with its own original musical score. Families love it, and teachers recommend it.
The challenge was that the series lived everywhere and nowhere. The books sell on Amazon in paperback and hardcover, the music streams on Spotify and other platforms, exclusive stories go out on Substack, and the audience gathers across social channels. Each channel did its own job well, but a reader discovering the series in one place had no way to see the whole world it belongs to.
A homing point
for every channel
We built the website as the centre the series was missing. Each book has its own page with the cover, the story’s theme, and clear buy buttons routing straight to Amazon, where readers already trust the checkout. Each soundtrack links directly to the streaming platforms. The Substack newsletter is woven through the site, welcoming new subscribers with a free exclusive story, so casual visitors become a lasting audience.
The design keeps the storytelling first, with warm, simple language written for the three audiences who actually visit: parents, teachers, and young readers. Reviews from families and classrooms sit alongside the collection, and the author’s own story gives the series its voice. Wherever someone discovers Golden Threads, the website receives them and points them to the right place to buy, listen, or subscribe.
One home feeding
every channel
The series now has a single promotional home that turns discovery into sales and subscribers. Books route to Amazon, music routes to streaming, readers become newsletter subscribers between purchases, and the whole world of the series is visible from any doorway a reader happens to arrive through.
